Summary:

Gizblaster is an addictive arcade-like space shooter and is the very first itch.io game created by Gizmo. Join Gizbot, as he tries to defeat an incoming fleet of enemy robots from getting to and destroying Gizbot's base!

Controls:

Arrow Keys: Move

Space Bar: Shoot

Hold Space Bar: Charge Laser

Gameplay:

           This game has no ending, it will run forever until either your ship's health reaches zero or if Gizbot's health reaches zero, resulting in a game over. The difficulty will also ramp up over time, so be careful! If an enemy passes Gizbot without being defeated, your ship will be damaged, and if an enemy collides with Gizbot, he will lose one heart and the enemy will explode. If you destroy an enemy with Gizbot's lasers, you will get 100 points added to your score. See how high your score can go! 

You are able to charge Gizbot's lasers with four different levels:

Small Laser (Light Blue)

Super Laser (Blue)

Ultra Laser (Dark Blue)

Omega Laser (Purple)

(The Ultra and Omega Lasers both destroy enemies in one hit, but the Omega laser can pass through multiple enemies unlike the Ultra Laser)

            There are two power ups that you can collect that show up occasionally, the GizHeart and the GizWrench. The GizHeart will simply give Gizbot another heart if he collides with it. The GizWrench can restore some of the ship's HP, but only if it passes Gizbot and goes to the base. Trying to collide into the GizWrench will result in no power up. Also, don't shoot either of these power ups with Gizbot's lasers, as they will result in the power ups being destroyed.

How high can your score get? Comment your highest score and provide proof for it if possible. (Proof can be screenshot, but preferably video)

Current Highest Known Score: 7500 by me (Played on itch.io version)

Note: This game was made using the free version of Construct 3, which has a limited number of code that can be added. This game basically maxed out that limit, so major new features are unlikely to be added in the future.
